Metal pot, is a one-off artwork, painted oil on canvas, directly from the object depicted.  The inspiration was simple, to take one of the most every day objects, found in the house, and to try and find as much beauty and dynamism as possible in it.  I arranged it on a striped blue cloth, and placed it opposite a window, and responded as honestly and artistically to the set up.

The painting is framed, as shown, in an elegant, hand painted floater frame.
